I've really been craving pieces like these lately. Laces, crochets, silks, and lightweight knits, in cream, nude, dusty rose, and mint green accessorized with wood and gold. They're so soft and delicate and they epitomize Spring to me. What's your ideal Spring wardrobe?

Today I'll share some facts about myself, that I feel relate to this outift/photo, but probably don't.

- Jeans have a total "bumming around" feel to me. They're my equivalent of going out in sweatpants. Up until I was 12, I refused to wear them and I didn't even own a pair. I preferred dresses, skirts, and leggings. Normally that wouldn't be so bad, but for some reason I had a ridiculous amount of floral print leggings, and even a pair of purple crushed velvet. Talk about stylish.

- I had weird facial expressions in every picture I took today, so you would probably never guess that when I was young, I wanted to be a model. I was convinced that it could happen, until I realized that I am painfully awkward in front of a camera. Oh well, there's always my other childhood dream of growing up and becoming Swedish.

Grey Sky Mornings

This past week was super stressful for me, so this weekend I wanted to be comfortable. It's been in the 70s for the past few days as well, so I'm itching for summer and have been dying to break out more dresses and skirts. While it was pretty warm today, it was a bit cloudy and had me in a dreary mood.

The plain white wall isn't a super interesting backdrop, I know. I was trying to find out exactly how to use my camera, and by the time I figured out the basics, it was already dark out. Woops!

This morning I took a trip to the other side of the valley to do some shopping. I ended up buying some beautiful Steve Madden high heels that I really didn't need, but at over 70% off, I couldn't turn them down. I never used to be very interested in shoes, but lately it's a different story. I almost bought myself a pair of Michael Kors heels, but a girl needs to budget.

Covetable: Hype

I'll be posting outfit photos soon, as soon as I find a slightly inconspicuous place to pose for a bit without feeling too self conscious. Until then, I'll just share some pieces from Hype that I would love to have in my possession.

Everything looks so soft and feminine, without looking too stuffy or like your trying too hard. I also love the prints and have been really drawn to bright purples lately.





It doesn't hurt that model's hair is exactly what mine aspires to be. That is, when it's not debating the pros and cons of bangs.
